Great stay in the 3 bedroom woodsmoke cabin. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen. Kids enjoyed the pool in the cold weather. In snowy weather parking in front of cabin was limited to one/two very tight space/s, but we were able to park another across the street. We'll be back!

We had such a fun weekend staying in one of the new 4 bedroom Woodsmoke cabins! It was nice how all of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms too. The hot tub was spacious and clean and shout out to Rick for being so friendly and fun.

The unit we stayed in was BEAUTIFUL!!! We had a 4 bedroom Woodsmoke cabin which was brand new, super clean, beautifully decorated and we loved it. Only complaint about the cabin was the bed. The bed is as firm as I’ve ever felt in a mattress. If you like a rock solid super firm mattress then you will love it. Otherwise plan on getting mediocre sleep. I slept better on the kids buck beds than the king bed. When you pay this much you want to get good rest, which did not happen here. Giving the rooms 3 stars only because the bed is uncomfortable. Based on aesthetics it’s all 5 stars. The bar is very lively. If you are looking for a party atmosphere this is your place!! It doesn’t exactly have the resort feel. We usually stay at Grandview which is maybe more family friendly. Not saying it’s not nice, because it is!! But it’s maybe too party scene for a family resort.

I booked 2 rooms for a birthday/girls night out. The main reason for booking was to see the bar/restaurant all decked out for Christmas and to use to outdoor pool/sauna/hot tub as both of these amenities are posted AND boasted about quite often on your social media. Our stay was on a Wednesday night. We found out when we checked in at 6:45 that night that the bar restaurant was closed M-W, which was really disappointing. While the hours are posted on your website, you have to specifically go to the dining page, etc. to find those. It would be nice if you posted the hours on all your social media posts to alleviate any confusion as they make it seem like an open invitation. Secondly when we checked in we found out the hot tub was closed that night, again….very disappointing. Although we could have used the sauna and pool, we checked in at 6:45 and the front desk said the pool area closed at 8 PM. Again…..please clearly post your hours. I found nowhere on your website the hours for your pool area amenities. (Most pool areas in hotels are usually open until 10 PM.) We also requested adjoining rooms. The front desk lady said that was not possible because all the rooms were not clean. (She seemed like she clearly did not want to be there that night.) Wow….we checked in at 6:45 PM on a Wednesday night and were literally the only 2 cars in the parking lot and we couldn’t even get adjoining rooms? While this place can be really awesome to stay….this particular stay for me was really disappointing.

Gosh, this was an amazing call to whimsy. Quarterdeck was exceptional and I am already eagerly awaiting going back. STUNNING, view of the lake with a generous, yet private sized balcony. My suite was perfect, had full control how toasty or cool our room was. To boast more about Quarterdeck, my little 9 pound, well behaved, doggy was welcomed. Front of house was just as charming and welcoming as the crew rockin behind the bar. This was our best Christmas and it meant a lot have spent the Christmas there

We had a wonderful stay for our anniversary weekend at this resort. The suite with two king beds was spacious, spotless, and very quiet — exactly what we were hoping for. The bathroom was updated and clean, and we especially loved waking up to Gull Lake sunrises right from our deck. The only downside was the bed platform — every time you shifted, it creaked loudly enough to wake the room. Hopefully, that’s something that gets updated soon, because everything else exceeded expectations. We enjoyed the game room and would have loved to try the hot tub and sauna, but we spent most of our time exploring the area. The on-site restaurant was excellent — we’d definitely recommend it. The service stood out as well, from check-in to dining, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, this was an excellent getaway spot, and we’d happily return for another stay.

Jan-Feb. 2026 We rented a cabin for a girls weekend and would highly recommend! The cabin was beautiful with nice furniture, beds, pillows, and interior finishes. The layout of the cabin was great and everyone couldn't wait to either bring their family back or book another girls trip. We didn't use any of the amenities only because we were enjoying the cabin (sitting by the fireplace or sitting at the island enjoying a meal) and catching up with our friends. Coming back in the summer would be amazing!

We recently stated at the hotel over the 1st weekend in Jan and had such a great time. The resort's amenities are awesome - an outdoor pool and hot tub, and sauna were the perfect way to relax, even in the cold! We ice fished right out from the resort, so that was nice and convenient and we LOVED that the holiday Jingle Bar was still up. It was so festive and fun. The surrounding area is great for food and shops, it was a fun time and we'll be back
